Many people need water easy and cheap. Depending on your formation if it is soft sand or hard rock will let you know if it is cheap. Drilling hard formations is always more money. Do some checking around where your thinking of doing a sand point. Sand points can be bought at Lowes, home depot and some hardware stores. The smaller the sand point the easier it is to get in the ground. But the smaller the sand point the less water it makes. A sand point is basically a PVC well screen with point on end. Before consider this, be sure you have NO ROCK, or very hard formations. SO you do not waste time and money. If you do not want to buy a sand point, you can make one also. Its on the link..
