Boston marathon bombing ?? can you guess who did it ?
The Boston marathon bombing is just another attack that shames and kills Americans. Once this happened, everyone knows who did it, very simple conclusion. Are you ready for the next attack. This will not stop. While we spend millions, to protect ourselves here, we are also spending tax money to fly radical's here to study here on student visa's as we pay the bill. Open boarders are not enough, we have to pay there way to get here too, Then give them government housing, SSI check, plus set them up in many other ways. With the morals we have these days , everyone has rights, but Americans who were born here. When they catch the scum bag who killed these people, the tax payer funded lawyers will be running to protect these guys. Even if they get convicted, they have a better chance to die of old age in prison, before ever getting the death sentence carried out. Pray for our nation, and pray for our children, they have many years of this ahead to live through. God help us all.

How to get a water well drilling license ** or license to steel.
Getting a water well drilling license or what some people call ( a license to steel) . In all 50 states, you must have a drilling license to drill a water well for money. In most states you can drill on your own land, or land you have leased without a license, but you still may need a well permit in some areas. The reason why they say you must a have license driller, is because this keeps the water formations safe. Even though by law a license driller does not have to be there in person, just as long as he is within 2 hours drive ( which could be 150 miles away). In the state of Texas there are only 1600 license drillers, but millions of land owners. Other states are near the same. Very simple mathematics supply and demand. Some drillers can hardly read and write, but make more money that a cancer doctor, only working 2 to 3 days per week.
If you want a license, do all the home work first. Remember, even though states offer these drilling license, they don't like to. You will have know the rules and hold there feet to the fire. In some states, they have apprentice programs. After working 2 years for McDonald's wages, the driller promises to sign for you. I hope he likes you, and sticks with the deal. Other wise you worked for 2 years for nothing. It is easier to marry in the drillers family than get him to sign for you.
(Why want he sign for me, people always ask me!) Easy answer, why would he sign for others to have the license to steel, when he does not have too. No other kind of business can squash the completion like that, plus have the state even help them.

2. Go to drilling school for 2 months, pay 25k and then still take hard test, pray to pass.

Sand Point well DIY quicky
Many people need water easy and cheap. Depending on your formation if it is soft sand or hard rock will let you know if it is cheap. Drilling hard formations is always more money. Do some checking around where your thinking of doing a sand point. Sand points can be bought at Lowes, home depot and some hardware stores. The smaller the sand point the easier it is to get in the ground. But the smaller the sand point the less water it makes. A sand point is basically a PVC well screen with point on end. Unpermitted water wells worth more than Gold
A water source is the single best resource anyone can have. With many government agency's adding new water laws and restriction, many people now have water meters on old family water wells in some areas. You will see more and more of this coming. Politian's realize the power of water, and seek to control is more and more. It is Now law, do your research and see, some states own the water falling from heaven, before it even hits your land. In Colorado, no one can even catch rain water without a rain water permit 1st. REMEMBER, a PERMIT IS NOT FOR EVER.
A permit is just permission for a time. It can be retracted, and revoked and removed, or changed. Also permits to be valid must have your personal signature to valid. This show you, they cant do this without your consent . Your consent is your signature. Everyone like to obey the law. We need law, but beware when you seek a water permit, you just rang bells and whistles done at the water district or other government agency's . Once you get a water well permit, you now on there list. The list for higher land taxes because of land value is higher now with water available.
Older water wells are what is called Grand father water wells. Grand father water wells are just water wells with no permit. Once a well is permitted, it is no longer under the grand father law.

Building Your Own Portable Drilling Rig
Everyone needs water, problem is water is not cheap anymore. Sad thing is if you give a young couple free 5 acres of land, they need 50k for place to poop and get a drink of water. Average septic system prices start at 8k and go to 20k. Average water well prices start at 10k and go up. In some states wells can cost up to 25k. This is why many people are doing research and thinking of drilling there own water well. Here is simple test, answer the questions.
1.How deep are you drilling?
2.Do you have soft sand, or will you have hard rock formations?
3.What price range drill are you looking to buy?
The deeper you drill, the more money it takes, because you will need better equipment, not just a toy rig. Soft sand drills easy, and you can get by with less priced drill rigs. 3k to 8k, will be toy drill rig. The toy swivels are usually homemade with light bearings if any at all. And the seals they use are nothing more than China wheel bearing seals. If wheel bearing seals work so good for water, and see boat trailers on the side of the road with Burnup axles. One other factor of a toy swivel, is extremely small water Course. A small water course will prevent you from driling very deep, and take much much longer to wash the cuttings out of the borehole. Some people say the smaller water course does not matter, let me give you an example.
It would be light washing your car off, that was very muddy with a water hose the size of a coffee straw. The larger the drill pipe and swivel, the faster and smoother everything goes when drilling.

If the Water swivel has no weight rating, it is a Toy rig with a toy swivel.
If the drill pipe is not Heat treated tool joint connections, it is a Toy Rig.
If the salesman descripes the Rig with Fancy power words that are not industrie standards, you have a Toy Rig.
If the Engine looks like a name brand , but engine manufactures name never appears in item description. Many Toy rigs use CHEAP CHINA KNOCK OFF ENGINES, Made to look like honda, but are trash after one tank of gas, you have a Toy Rig.
If you see a toy rig drill rating for 600ft, but drill pipe is china plumbing pipe with 1" ID water flow , which is impossible to do, you have a Toy Rig.
If the drill bits are flat bar welded to a pipe nipple, you have a toy rig.
If mud pump is just a cheap china water pump with a aluminum housing that the sand will wear out in 20 minites you have a toy rig.
If the total toy rig complete with all the bells and whistles cost less than 200ft of real 2 3/8" drill pipe, you have a toy rig. ( real mayhew Jr drill pipe 1800.00 per 100ft ).
If your Wife says to you "Looks to Good to be true," she is right, you have a toy rig.
If the rig is for sale on ebay, good chance it is a toy rig.
If the manufacture does not rent or do in person hands on demo, it is a toy rig. Most of these guys only cash checks, the last place they want to be is have you see it drill in person. Thats why 99.99 % of toy rigs are sold and shipped Via the internet, they never do a live demo with real customers.
Do toy rigs work?
Only in perfect condtions. Do you have a perfect life and perfect land? If so try one.
Places when they do work: Soft sand, and water is only 100ft or less. Drilling over 100ft, you need to be a 1/2 space enginer and 1/2 Redneck welder Jerry rigger. Remember the shallow and soft sand drilling these rigs will work. The deeper you go and the harder the formations, the less chance you have, unless you buy a better portable rig.

Better portable drilling rigs with better pipe and swivel makes the job easy. Drilling with substandard toy rigs is like walking on rice paper. it can be done, but not without a few tares.
Make sure you're getting a real drilling rig. ( Say no to Toy rigs ) Remember if you don't get a real swivel, and real drill pipe you do not have a real drilling rig. You have what I call a toy rig. Cheap China wheel bearing seals, not the good Chevron oil field packing. Also your swivel must have weight ratings. Your swivel weight rating will tell you how deep the drill will drill. If your drill pipe ways 50 pounds per 10 foot joint. And you have 10 joints, that equals 500 pounds per 100 feet. If you're swivel weight rating is 1000 pounds, then your swivel will be rated for 200 feet. This is why you want the largest swivel weight rating you can afford. And not just wait ratings you need a large water course flow. The larger the water course the more flow. The more flow the deeper and faster you can drill was less problems and not get your pipes stuck. Small water course equal slow drill speeds, slow penetration, and makes it easier to lose or get your pipe stuck What is the best drill pipe? Drill pipe is the second most important component on drilling rig other than the swivel. There's many different options and details that you can change, have are not have. Please do not skimp on the swivel or drill pipe. You must have a quality USA swivel and quality USA drill pipe if you expected drilling daily for money. The best thing about having a larger flow swivel and larger flow drill pipe, you can get by with less pump PSI and still get the same job done as small pipe and a larger mud pump.

Goverment owns water that falls from the Sky
Beware and check water rights and water right law very good before buying land. Some states have good water law, some state own all water rights and you have none. In Colorado you may not catch , collect or harvest rain water from your roof unless you first buy a permit and sign there user agreement.
The State owns your rain water? Yes. If you have 35 acres or less you can not have a water well, if you have 70 acres or more ,you may get 1 water well per 35 acres. Check your water rights before buying land. Also in Colorado you are not even allowed to catch rain water without buying a government permit to do so. They own the water falling from the sky. Depending on where you live, depends on if the government owns your rain water that hits your ground.
Amazing what our politicians have sold out to lobbyist groups over the years. Some of these laws were put in affect to save more water for large water reservoir feeding large city's or large land developments with high tax base. Water rights will only get harder to get, and more and more water restriction will come to pass in the near future. This system of water allocation controls who uses how much water, the types of uses allowed, and when those waters can be used. This is often referred to as the priority system or "first in time, first in right." Since all water arriving in Colorado has been allocated to "senior water right holders" since the 1850s, rainwater prevented from running downstream may not be available to its rightful owner. In 2009, legislation in Colorado was enacted that permits capture of rain water for residential use subject to strong limitations and conditions. In order to be permitted, a residence may not be connected to a domestic water supply system serving more than 3 single-family dwellings. The permit must be purchased from the State Engineer's office and is subject to water usage restrictions. They add to these laws regularly. Watch your state water laws to protect your land owner interest.
Texas water law
In some places in Texas you are not allowed to drill a water well, even if you have many acres. In harris county if you have city or municipal water already run in front of your land access, no water wells are allowed. The local water districts lobbied this law.
Back in the early 80's it only cost 100 bucks to hook up to local water district water tap. I have heard stories this price now is from 6k to 25,000.00 now, this is just for the privilege to buy there water.
Every state has different laws. Texas has water areas broken down is areas. The also have a Government Donut king in charge of every area. Even though many of these people never drilled a well, know nothing about water or geologic formations, they are in charge and in control of your water.
There are millions on land owners in Texas, but only 1600 registered well drilling company's. Supply and demand, this is why Texas water well prices are highest of any state except California . Getting a Texas water well license is impossible unless you marry in family, or work with license driller for 5 bucks a hour for 2 years, and he will sign for you. You can have 30 year drilling experience in Texas, but unless someone signs for you, you WILL NOT GET A LICENSE.

Also several times a year, someone must risk there life and climb the tower to add oil to gearbox 35ft in the air or more. Another set back is in high winds, the windmill tail turns out of the wind to avoid damage, so in windy times of the year, you have to check daily and climb up and reset tail for windmill to pump again.
